We here at Lindsay Volkswagen of Dulles absolutely love the Volkswagen Jetta. In fact, we're hard pressed to find anything at all that we'd like to change about it. Nevertheless, that hasn't stopped the German automaker from giving it a shot every now and then, and it seems like they strike pure gold every time a new generation of the vehicle hits.
So what could Volkswagen possibly have in store for the Jetta next? That would be a hybrid version of the Jetta. Slated to arrive as a 2013 model, the Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid packs more miles per gallon than many other vehicles in its class. Furthermore, the 2013 Jetta Hybrid also delivers more horsepower than you'd typically find in a hybrid vehicle.
The all-new Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid debuted as a concept at the 2012 North American International Auto Show, but it didn't receive a lot of show time. The reason for the low key unveiling? Volkswagen wants the Jetta Hybrid to stand out as little from its purely gasoline-based sibling as possible.
