Winter events and activities 2017 near Northern VA

After the Christmas and holiday season, it’s difficult to get out of the house and stay active. There are plenty of winter events and activities in 2017 near us in Northern VA. We’re lucky to live in a state with beautiful landscapes all year round, not to mention, being a short drive away from our nation’s capital.

Rock Creek Park

Rock Creek Park, located in DC, is open every day throughout the winter. There are over 32 miles of trails in the park, as well as a nature center and planetarium.

Panther Family Laser Tag

Panther Family Laser Tag is fun for all ages! In addition to laser tag, they have tons of arcade games, air hockey, and can be home to a great birthday party!

Ski Hills and Resorts

Virginia is home to variety of great ski hills. Some of the top-rated ski resorts in Virginia include Bryce Resort, Massanutten, The Homestead Ski Area, and Wintergreen Resort.
